Bamboo floorings
Our Bamboo flooring is produced in two color, natural and dark brown or carbonized. Natural color is UV coating the carbonized is achieved through high temperature and high pressure. This carbonized process can eliminate all insect bite.
Prodigy bamboo flooring is based on Tokin Cane (Arundinaria Amabilis) poles come form south east China. They are thin wall, Straight, clean and smooth. Tokin Cane is famous for the excellent fly rods.
Bamboo flooring construction
Prodigy pure bamboo flooring is constructed using vertical press or horizontal press techinques. In horizontal press, 3 plys of bamboo are layered together, giving a "wide strip" appearance. In vertical press, strips of bamboo are layered vertically to one another, giving a "narrow strip" appearance. All our flooring strips are tongue and groove.
