Engineered wood flooring OurProdigy engineered
wood floorings are built having three layers that are glued together. Top
layer is 3 mm thickness, middle layer is 12 mm thickness and bottom layer
is 3mm thickness. The middle layer is generally either a hardwood or
softwood or plywood which incorporates the tongue and groove system.
Engineered wood floorings are slightlymore resistant to highermoisture
level than solid wood flooring. Engineered wood flooring can directly be
glued-downover a concrete
slap above or below grade, or stapled down over a wood sub-floor.
Engineered wood floorings have an average lifespan of between 30-40 years
depending on maintenance and traffic.
